People change.A few came back with medals yet committed crimes in civilian life.A few soldiers commit crimes while in uniform.Blanket adulation is no more logical than blanket condemnation

I don’t believe bravery in the heat of battle is directly translatable to politics.The Nazis and Communists had many brave men so should we laud their political views?
Give the war hero respect for his acts but his politics should be held to the same scrutiny and criticism as anyone ‘s.
