I used to listen to Rush, but I have a Bose radio that sits on a shelf high above my desk. Every time our power goes off I have to reset it and adjust the signal. I have to step on a stool and then still have to stretch, so I stopped bothering with it.

Regarding his "hawking" of his tea, I suggest you read this

SUPPORT OUR PATRIOTS

Two If By Tea® is proud to salute the men and women of our armed forces and their families. Two If By Tea® is a proud sponsor of the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation and will donate a minimum of $100,000 to MC-LEF beginning in June 2011.

The Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation is certified as one of America's best charities and provides assistance to the children of United States marines and federal law enforcement personnel who were killed on duty or died under extraordinary circumstances while serving our country.

This Foundation was formed in February of 1995, under the belief that our nation's most precious resource is its youth. The recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have certainly illuminated America's commitment to freedom. We are reminded that freedom is not free. The price is great. No one knows that better than the left-behind sons and daughters of America's fallen heroes. Through the continuous support of donors, the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation has distributed aid with a value of more than $50,000,000.00 to eligible children. For further information, please visit www.mc-lef.org .The Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 charity,
IRS tax number 22-3357410.

I very much appreciate Rush and his tea destinations to our military. God knows no one argues against Rush for that.
Yesterday, however, I was in no mood for distractions. This would include the damn tea.

Rush for the first time in 27 years deeply disturbed me in his treatment of D-Day on Newt. Beginning his address of the Newt story, and me breathlessly awaiting his take on it, as always, he starts, and then goes off on the damn tea, wonders back onto the subject at hand, and then cuts for commercial break, he returns, reads some stuff, makes an incidental comment that this is not the Newt he remembers, (blink, blink) and then launches into how Romney getting attacked too. Talk about equalizing night and day. Talk about the magnitude of attacks being in the same sentence.

Needless to say I did go ballistic! LOL! :)

You won’t hear Rush say this, so I will. When we lost our son, the contribution from the MC-LEF to our granddaughter was made in Rush’s name. Rush has contributed millions over the coarse of the last 10 years of war to the education of our fallen’s children.
