Ruralia scares Suburbia, it’s another planet to the folks from the inner cities. All we have to do is pluck our banjos.
We’ve gotten a *lot* of mileage out of that movie where I live.
I remember my family going to see it at the Maryland Theatre when it was a movie house instead of a snooty concert hall like it is, now.
We were sitting there surrounded by city folk, cheering for the hillbillies.
[it -did- all start when a smart ass flatlander shot at one of them...we had no pity for *that* yuppie party]
Next up was “Southern Comfort”.
Those were two great movies.
