I was talking about the gradual increase in life span, not the decent life span you reference.
Scientific discoveries have helped us increase the quality and quantity of food available to everyone here in the US and in most parts of the world, including 3rd world, and ever decreasing costs.
Between 1970 and 2009 food cost for the average family decreased 30%, probably the largest long term decrease in history. Obviously prices have climbed since that time, but people still eat for considerably less than they did in 1970, and have far greater variety to chose from.
We are such a wealthy nation, food wise, that people can waste money buying ‘natural’ foods.
Myself, I avoid natural foods whenever I can, sticking to the only other choice, ‘unnatural foods’
HAHAHAHA!!!! :-)
