I understand the urgency - but i hope you will consider that the damage that’s been done was not done in 1-2 election cycles. Even the leftward New Deal and follow on programs were spread out over decades. You can certainly choose to push to change it all at once but I think it’s far more likely to produce a leftward lurch than a rightward one.

We need to change hearts/minds and create a long lasting Republican majority composed of a majority Conservative (Tea Party) segment of the party.

If there’s a faster path that involves less work and time, I’d love to see it but as is - it’s going to be a long hard slog. We wont always get what we want on the way and have to focus on and fight for the things we need to keep increasing conservative governance.

I see your point...but I am suggesting that there can be no “conservative” governance is future years because the system will be fundamently changed. With the now all but certain relection of Obama...look for many executive orders forcing basic changes in the financial system and how Congress works.

I think we are out of time. Hope I’m wrong. See the Democrats move on the 22nd Amendment. They will want to “reelect” Obama two or three more times. I know this sounds crazy today...but my sense is it and other basic changes to the “horse and buggy” Constitution will soon be in the works.
