......The Drudge outburst seems to reflect a growing sense among the conservative opinion commentariat that Gingrich as nominee is a serious liability in a pivotal election year, a fact the GOP base has yet to fully grasp. The pundits apparently view themselves as the sober older sibling warning a starry-eyed sister about the hot guy on the Harley who's been around enough to leave a mark.

It isn’t just his money, his church is in on it too. They NEED him to win so they can proclaim that he has fulfilled the “White Horse Prophecy” (even though Smith gave it about his own run for POTUS in 1844) to stop the huge loss of membership they have been going through here in the US the last 10 years or so.
That's why I cut to the chase -- their insulting bottom line.
BOYCOTT DRUDGE
The sister might be Drudge but I'm not sure Ann is really a "sister". They..together with their editor Brit Hume are GOProud (gay republicans)and they want the Mittens. If you want to warn somebody, you need to tell everyone that Mittens is sKerry.
Quote from a fellow Freeper...
"If Romney gets the nomination, mark my words: As soon as the convention is over, you're going to see the Romney who passed the Assault Weapons Ban. You're going to see the Romney who supported gay marriage. You're going to see the Romney who protected and knighted Planned Parenthood. You're going to see the Romney who invented Obamacare and wants to keep it going. And conservatives will no longer have any say inside the Republican Party."~Thane_Banquo
They are either with us or against us, the TEA party movement that is.
clarification: .....Us being the Tea party movement.
That is a fantastic quote. Thank you for reposting it. Thanks to Banquo for writing it.
The Drudge Report = The Mitt Poofter Magic Underwear Romney Sodomy Coulter Report.
Mitt was/is to be their beautiful conduit and Newt is messing with their plan.
Just remember a few months back when the Romniacs were throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Palin, because they thought she was going to be their main rival.
When she dropped out they turned their guns on Gingrich. The party professionals are doing everything they can to make sure their guy is the nominee, and they’ll say anything, do anything, and they do not count the cost.
Its a war between the party professionals and the party rank and file. Its our party, but the parasitical “leadership” isn’t going down without a slash-and-burn fight. After a fight this bitter, it is going to be all but impossible to unite behind the winner, but they don’t care about that. They have to stop Gingrich even if it costs them the election later.

Drudge: I Do Not Love Sex With Men
4/6/2009
Drudge has never been said to particularly relish his homosexuality or embrace it; in fact his gay romantic/sexual side has been described (when alleged) as conflicted and awkward.
David Brock, the former right-wing writer, wrote in his memoir Blinded by the Right about a scary date in which Drudge, after bringing Brock flowers and navigating the Santa Monica gay strip like a pro, stepped on a competing suitors foot really hard (in Drudges purported words) in a nightclub to scare him away from Brock.
Alec Baldwin stated that Drudge made an advance on him in an ABC Studios hallway, a proposition that had kind of a creepy quality to it.
Drudge denied he was gay to the Miami New Times in 2001, even as he launched into a disquisition on (as the New Times put it) the reigning DJ king of gay circuit parties and summarized his nightlife thusly: I go to straight bars, I go to gay bars.
Mitt's Masquerade [about how he lines up with another Mass pol John Kerry who lost]
.........But what happens if Romney gets the nomination? That question has been stubbornly elusive in media coverage, which has instead focused on the lothario innuendoes surrounding Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich's grandiosity. Meanwhile Romney slips by relatively unscathed, the beneficiary of the perfunctory conventional wisdom of political strategists. Well, he looks good on television and doesn't say outlandish things, so he must be the best candidate. He's the flag-carrier for hardheaded realists who will compromise generously for a win over President Obama.
But he's also a patrician flip-flopper from Massachusetts. Sound familiar?
This is the problem with Romney: a strong comparison can be made between him and 2004 historical footnote John Kerry, and the similarities aren't just superficial. Romney seems to be haunted by Kerry's ghost, perhaps as it sips a fine Sauvignon Blanc."..........
Drudge isn’t “leading” anything. He just links to other stories. All this stuff is coming out about Newt because it’s true; nobody’s making it up. Truth is newt is a jerk. Don’t try to twist that into saying I’m a Romneybot.
Do you know how lame you sound?
More for your comprehensive Romney truth file and the extent of the GOP-E involvement with him, as well as his nasty opposition research tactics.

What stuff? It’s all nonsense. Can anyone remember any of these shocking allegations? Can you?
What is the worst complaint?
There are no positive stories posted on Drudge about Newt ...nothing to refute the negative and the out right lies and people have been sending them to Drudge..... ALL FLIPPING DAY LONG!
Are you logged in? To this planet I mean....
All this stuff about Newt is really beginning to sway me. I mean, the ICE BUCKET!
/s, y’all
Publishing Newt's quotes out of context when he's paraphrasing the rat leaders feelings about Reagan on the House Floor, is making up false quotes about Newt's feelings about Reagan.
The GOP-E and their lapdogs should publish Newt's entire speeches, instead of excerpts and let the American public decide.
Warts and all, Newt has a record of being fiscally conservative.
No matter who wins the GOP nomination, the GOP-E operatives will not attack the socialist pres__ent in the fall.
As a dyed-in-the-wool reactionary, I’m proud to be part of the backlash against the backlash.
