Let me repeat what used to be the standard FReeper voting protocol:
Vote against the RINO in the primary. Vote against the ‘Rat in the general. Repeat as needed.
This works at all levels from sheriff and alderman to POTUS.

If you vote for a liberal with an (R) next to their name, you're still voting for a liberal.
And if you support a liberal with an (R) next to their name simply because they have an (R) next to their name, you're telling the GOP that you are fully okay with them shifting to the left.
If the GOP is going to run liberals with (R) next to their names, they need to understand that Conservatives will not support them, end of story.
The idea that a liberal with an (R) next to their name is better than a liberal with a (D) next to their name is a dangerous belief, because both of those liberals want to take you down the road to socialism. It's just a matter of how fast they take you. They're still going to take you down that road.

That approach invariably leads to losers like McCain being the nominee.
Anyone who says that they would vote for the RINO in the general election contributes to making sure that the RINO will be the nominee.
