If Romney gets the nomination, mark my words: As soon as the convention is over, you're going to see the Romney who passed the Assault Weapons Ban. You're going to see the Romney who supported gay marriage. You're going to see the Romney who protected and knighted Planned Parenthood. You're going to see the Romney who invented Obamacare and wants to keep it going. And conservatives will no longer have any say inside the Republican Party.
Great points! I would like to quote you on the Rush thread..if you don’t mind. Thanks.

We KNOW that Mitt is the Ruling Class / Establishment’s candidate because they can CONTROL him. They can’t control Newt (just like they knew they couldn’t control Palin and had to destroy her).
The establishment is desperately trying to neuter and silence Conservative voices within the party:

The money quote from a Washington Post piece on the Tea Party and Washingtons GOP establishment:
Former Senate majority leader Trent Lott (R-Miss.), now a D.C. lobbyist, warned that a robust bloc of rabble-rousers spells further Senate dysfunction. We dont need a lot of Jim DeMint disciples, Lott said in an interview. As soon as they get here, we need to co-opt them.
But Lott said hes not expecting a tea-party sweep. I still have faith in the visceral judgment of the American people, he said.

[]RUSH: Once in a while — it doesn’t happen very often — once in a while you stumble across an article, an essay that demands to be widely disseminated. This one that I stumbled across is from the July-August issue of the American Spectator, and the title is: “America’s Ruling Class and the Perils of Revolution.” It’s by Angelo Codevilla. ....” [snip]
