Newt at least HAS an established politically conservative record of sorts while Mitt has NO record of conservative public service—in fact quite the opposite as he was left of Ted Kennedy.

Both don’t always tell the truth but with Romney there is no proof he was EVER a conservative politician while with Newt there is.

I think a good point is that they’re both professional politicians, Romney less so. I really fear they both are more committed to personal success than to conservative success. Time will tell. I am confident that one of these men will be the next president of the US. I’m also hoping that we conservatives won’t self-destruct because we don’t have the perfect candidate and end up getting four more years of Obama. Either Newt or Romney will do a better job of leading our country if elected. For that matter, so would porky pig.
