That was a joke about his taxes, right? The extensions go until 10/15. I am sure he can do them sometime in the next 9 months.
During a recent debate, he said he would release his taxes as soon as he could do them. Waiting till an extension runs out in October isn’t going to cut it.
I don’t think he intends it as a joke. I believe it’s in reaction to the voters and other candidates demanding the release of tax returns from one another. He said he’d have to go home to get his tax return done so that he could release it.
