cuban leaf is absolutely correct, and it bears repeating:
Mitt is the mormon. For Beck, that trumps all else.
—You’re a big boy. Stand up for yourself. Pick your own battles. Don’t piggy back on mine. I didn’t mention Beck’s religion nor did I mention Mitt Romney,—
I’m not sure what you mean’t by “piggybacking”. You are correct you didn’t mention Becks Religion. That is why I did. Nor did you mention Mitt Romney. That is why I did.
I’ve argued many, many times with liberals and find that when they feel strongly about their postion but cannot logically back it up, they go emotional in their responses, as Beck is doing. And I think that is why Beck is doing what he is. A reasonable conservative would not support Romney. But if this conservative is a Mormon, he is very conflicted. He will support Mitt, but can not really logically articulate why. It leaves them in two positions. They can just not talk about the election at all, or they can go emotional, since that is all they have.
Beck is choosing the latter path, based on what I am hearing here.
I loved Becks books and tried to listen to his radio show a year ago (I have not had TV since the last century), but I could not listen to his show because it was so much teenage blather between him and his cohost.
BTW, I’m not all that big, but I’m fairly tall. :)
