I bet I have watched every SOTU speech for 30 years straight.
In all those 30 years I have NEVER seen such an apprehensive worried looking bunch of Senators & Representatives - and I am talking mainly about the Democrats.
I kept thinking “they know something we don’t know” and it isn’t good for the country.
I missed the speech due to watching last Sunday night’s episode of Downton Abbey!
But I did catch his exit from the room and the lovefest from all the slobbering Dems. It was nauseating.
And well, I’m nauseated anyway cuz I am afraid that this Imposter/Upurper/Marxist is going to be reelected.

Perhaps as with the final days of the Soviet Union, the insiders now the real numbers? Alternatively it could be personal to them, and the level of rejection for the present system will swamp them utterly? Just theorizing.
