I remember a teacher who changed my life. Threw a chalkboard eraser clear across the room and whacked me up side of the head for doodling during a boring history class. Been a devoted student of history ever since.
He was also a football coach.
My computer screen blocks the TV, so I’m glancing occasionally at the reflection I can see in my china cabinet windows. Kind of like looking at Medusa only in a mirror so you don’t get turned to stone.
