She came out for the only obvious choice, once that choice became apparent.

Amazing and uncommon brilliance.

Well, the GOP-E poo-bahs told everyone repeatedly that she should just be a cheerleader and not a candidate. They certainly weren't careful about what they wished for and now they have it.

Next for GOP leaders: Stopping Sarah Palin

These voters are now popularly referred to as “Teavangelicals”

Never heard of the term until this article.

Stupid headline.

I read the whole article and didn’t read anything about a caller getting shot by a “tealeafwhatever.” What was the caller shot with? What caliber round was used?

Character does count, and values do matter. But unless one is a relativist and everything reduces to process, then one must believe in somethings are true. Newt believes that underlying our political system are not just sets of values, but fundamental truths about mankind. Liberals don’t. They feel that the Constitution is no more than a temporary arrangement, based on the needs of the time, and which may now be regarded, as they regard the terms of magna carta, mere historical survivals. But we are closer in spirit and fact to the men of that time than the liberal is willing to admit. And that instrument of government, which we call the constitution, remains a profound check on heedless change based on what the Baby-boomers think ought to happen.
