—we’re going to have to try to reinvent the smoke-filled room—
Go for it! That would be the end of the party.
If the GOP-e (elite/establishment) is FOR Romney....that alone should give one pause as to voting for him. When has the GOP-e shown the American People that they care about anything other than lining their pockets and showing favor on special interest groups? Answer: NEVER. There’s a reason why the GOP-e is pushing for RINO Romney.
Correct.
Since I never watch NBC otherwise, I was surprise her comments after the debate were more positive to Newt than I would have expected. But still of no importance.
I can't see what it matters who they talk to, how do they get them on the primary ballots?
Does Romney drop out and give them his campaign team and funds? Did they run that idea past Mutt?
They had that other RINO turd ( Huntsman) and nobody wanted him either. What makes them think that a new NE liberal RINO will fare better?
It's down to Newt and Mutt, when Mutt loses it's over, Newt is our nominee.
THanks to Andrea Mitchell....we wouldn’t get this from the RINO pundits. But, this ticks me off....they are willing to dump one stuffed shirt for another stuffed shirt. They are determined to defy all of us who are sick of their elitist BS.
If they do this, I hope they crash and burn and we get Newt for the nominee.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t in cahoots with Newt’s EX for that ABC interview. SNAKES.
You’re completely missing the point. It has nothing whatsoever to do with primary deadlines. This is about a brokered convention.
Yeah, it`s just too bad they can`t stop people from voting in these pesky little primaries...
With the advancements of internet and communications in general, it is so much harder for the elite media and party leaders to control information ( lets just call it “the truth” ... ) like in years past.
“The people” are taking control now, so they just need to accept it.
She is actually telling the truth. No, really.
I agree.I voted twice for W. But he disappointed. Jeb is just a smoother version.
Mutt and his advisors say screw the Conservative Base.
Mutt and his advisors say screw the Conservative Base.
LOL.. Glad I didn't have any liquid in my mouth when I read that reply.
The bluebloods want their party back.
Someone is gonna have to explain to us simpletons what a “brokered convention” is.
If the FL result is similar to the SC one then Mitt will be in free-fall and there will be nothing the GOP elites can do about it.
The people will choose and Newt will be our choice.
A brokered convention is where no candidate gains a majority of delegates through the primary and caucus process. That means the party’s power brokers sit down in a smoke-filled room at the convention and decide the nominee. That nominee may well be someone fresh, who has not run via the primary and caucus process.
If they pull this crap, it will finish off the Republican party for good.
I’m not much for donating money to politicians, but I’ll put in $1000 and another half that to FR if she runs with Newt!
