embarrassing
Next Mitt will be saying Karl Marx had a good idea and is misunderstood.
Does he want to GO to Kolob, or did he beam IN from Kolob?
Gee, when did that happen, Mittens?
Speaking of the shrill, harridan, did anyone catch Red Eye this morning?
The bitch got bitch-slapped by Andy Levy (sp?) and she was speechless (and got really pissed) when he called her a "RINO," for supporting Mittens.
Ann has definitely gone off her meds as she keeps repeating that Mitt is more Conservative than Newt.
What the HELL????
MY PROPHET WENT TO KOLOB AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS LOUSY T-SHIRT

He’ll say we should learn from Mussolini, who kept the trains running on time, and Hitler because he invested in medical research.
Very misleading title. (not that it’s your fault for posting Pam’s title)
He wasn’t praising Hezbollahs healthcare system.
He was pointing out how they use healthcare as diplomacy to win people over - which is exactly how they operate.
Granted, he said it clumsily and obviously didn’t get his point across very well since people are misunderstanding why he brought it up.
Probably wasn’t a great analogy to use in that forum.
Apparently went over Pam’s head too.
I am not a Romney fan for several reasons, but the title is misleading.
While he deserves a head-slap for the example, Romney is citing a tactic that the US has used in every war since WW2: provide medical services to the local population to win their support.

Exactly
You hit the nail on the head. My point exactly.
First of all, I’m not a Romney supporter. However, it seems that most commenters here have fully missed Romney’s point. He’s not supporting Hezbollah, he’s supporting health diplomacy and using what Hezbollah did to gain support as an example. In other words, one of our enemies is using a tool that works and we ought to be using it also. By doing so we gain a relatively inexpensive tool to counter and and defeat their efforts to encourage people to support their cause. It’s a program that’s already in place and up for renewal, and it actually in a way makes sense. The only problem I see is that we can’t afford it, and it more or less exposes the way Romney thinks ... big government solves everything.
One caveat, however. health diplomacy is a lot cheaper in dollars and lives than a hot war, and if confronting our enemies by working to gain support of a population works, so be it.
As for the true ‘democraticness’ of Lebanon, he is indeed a bit off on that matter.
