The convening authority is Lt. Gen. Thomas Waldhauser.Okay. Thanks. Good to see at least one of these "commanders" maybe has his head on straight. By the way, can you tell I'm pissed off? And, I learned long ago to never say anything about anybody I wouldn't say straight to their fat face. I have a little bit of throwup in my mouth I gotta go spit out now.
Thanks for all the posts, guys. Haven't responded because it is so sad to see this fight reduced to this kind of punishment/finding.
SSgt Wuterich and his family made a decision to get on with their lives after having fought a six year battle against all odds. They deserve so many thanks that they did not fold until it was SSgt Wuterich standing alone.
I wish Frank had held out, but they had to deal with the uncertainty that a decision from these panelists may have held, not me.
SSgt Wuterich will always be that. A private...no. A military judge can do what he wants in this situation. But he will join the others who failed to stand up when they had a chance. Gen. Mattis? You know what you did to SSgt Wuterich. Col. Ewers? ditto. Sean Sullivan....please. Nick Gannon...maybe you thought you finally bagged a Haditha Marine. Look at yourself in the mirror tomorrow, the next day.....keep going. What did you get?
This is where we are today.
