Tim Thomas, Boston Bruins goalie, snubs President Obama

There was a notable absence during a White House reception this afternoon for the Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins: star goalie Tim Thomas.
Thomas refused the invite for "political reasons," Sports Illustrated reports.
The goaltender was the only member of the Bruins who wasn't at the ceremony, where President Obama congratulated the team on its victory. Thomas is a staunch conservative and is expected to explain his snub of the president on his Facebook page this evening.

Crap!! I’m from Boston and a die-hard Bruins fan I’m so thrilled he did that, but I’m curious as to how the vast majority of Mass. citizens are gonna handle it. They will be torn between loving their sports hero and worshipping Obama. As I always say, I’m so so glad to be out of that God-forsaken state.
As a life long RANGERS fan, I despise The Bruins. However, I am love'n TT right about now.
Tim Thomas deserves praise and acclaim for excercising his First Amendment right. I’m going to bet you he will be booed at the next home game. Don’t forget we are in the City of Boston, where the idiots roam.

There is no way Thomas gets booed at a home game for snubbing the One. If anything he will get a standing 0! Bruins fans don’t tend do be a bunch of liberal socialists and if they were they would be beat up!
