True. The Rick Santorum diehards would probably be a liability.

What with the blatant personal irresponsibility (risky, corrupt, uncontrollable multiple cavalier behaviors through free will choice) in the bath houses and what not, I am certain there are not a few of “gay diehards.” Anybody who does not think we are in a culture war, seeing the annual dockside “Navy Kiss” being conducted between two women—one an officer of the ship, in my opinion, does not have their head screwed on right when it comes to Natural Law. And I don’t mind standing up for it in those clear terms and offending sensibilities. Same with abortion, or other murder(s) of innocent people. All symptomatic of the dark days we live in in the USA and elsewhere worldwide.

The MSM would NOT have a hard time exploiting Santorum’s
endorsement of Gingrich-—they would use it just as surely as they used his ex-wife Marianne’s testimony against him/
Gingrich would be seen to be “anti-gay”, and the “Gay Agenda” would have even LESS chance of being discussed honestly in the ongoing political debate as the truly fundamental ones of the economy and Big Government do. This is a hot-button, wedge issue, and always has been, and you can be sure if Newt has anything to say about it, it would be way more subtle and complicated than anything the MSM has the patience to hear, so it would never get a fair hearing, anyway, like just about everything else.
