Per youth group: Have four educated nieces and nephews in Michigan. They are all getting food stamps and working menial jobs. Not completely unemployed but life is really tough...They are surviving waiting until the economy turns around. They want PAY checks not Food stamps. What Newt said really registers with this group of youth.
