I would take Newt over the moderate lets all get along Romney. Agreed. But I would still rather have someone more conservative than Newt. Too bad the nomination is going to be decided before it gets to PA. There has to be a better way to run primaries.

If you mean by more conservative Santorum, so far all I see from him is whiny pettiness. Except for his concession speech last night which makes me hope he will stop attacking his rivals and stay on message.

Why do we call Romney moderate? He is a liberal in republican clothing. Moderate is the media's cover for liberal republicans, and all democrats except those who are not embarrassed to call themselves socialist.

The right VP pick could lessen many of those concerns.
Like some have suggested, myself included, a Col West.
West might be a good compliment since Newt was a Army brat.
