Currently the city council is considering charging a fee to alarm owners to cover the response of law enforcement, whether or not they respond, which I have vowed in writing not to pay, to alarm activations. Recall also that southern Arizona nuts are considering breaking away from northern Arizona and forming their own state/country. Fanciful I know but illustrates the leftist thinking here.

That may be a tall order in Tucson. It would appear that your California ex-pats of the liberal persuasion tend to settle in Tucson so they can try and recreate a little bit of heaven in the desert. With lower taxes, of course -- for the meantime.
