That is what I am saying. MOST PEOPLE outside of FR and a few other conservative websites have NO IDEA. They may here a couple of things on Rush...but seriously...
Look at FR. 50K posters? Maybe. Out of 300 million people? Out of 130 million voters? 50,000! And not all of those even agree. How many of those are trolls? DU plants? Romnibots? You get the idea.
Then you have GOP voters...who vote in EVERY election straight party GOP like my wife...but she doesn't really know the first thing about politics outside of what she hears me complaining about and I am one of the 50K.
People on FR really do live in a bubble. They think EVERYONE else is as informed as them. THEY ARE NOT. Most people have no clue. Most of my GOP friends did not know about the recess appointment until I told them. They just don't pay attention. They have little league, church, football. Life is busy. They aren't consumed by surfing and talking politics on FR.
For some reason many FReepers think everyone else in the US...especially conservatives...are just as involved in knowing what Barry is up to just like they are. They aren't. Maybe the Rush listeners...or the Micheal Barry show listeners. Even with THAT...you are talking 10 million? 15 million? That's 8% of the VOTERS HIGHLY informed!
8%!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FR is a much smaller percentage. Are we right? Of course. And if we have a larger voice...I have no DOUBT people would agree. Thankfully people like Rush voice our opinions by and large...but again...only 8% of the voting public listen to him...and they are already on our side.
I think it’s odd that NELSON is wanting to say “I told you so” - he wants failure. That’s not being a realist, it’s being a defeatist.
I meet ordinary people often who have never heard of FR who know a lot about the wiles of the left, hate it, and are strong conservatives who are not stupid.
Maybe you live on the east coast?
(It's really sad that a Russian dentist/lawyer has more fight and more patriotism than you do.)
