She burst on the scene in the 1990s opposing Clinton. In 2008, she supported Duncan Hunter, a conservative with no chance. When he evaporated in short order, she went straight to Mittens. I heard her trash Fred Thompson in the most insulting terms on Mark Levin. Levin had to correct her, which he rarely does for his guests.
I listened to her and Laura Ingraham together mock Sarah Palin and dismiss her as unelectable, when she was considering whether to run.
She pushed Chris Christie, a liberal, very hard and when he refused, she went straight to another liberal, Mitt Romney.
She is a faux conservative, an Establishment sock puppet who makes headlines by saying outrageous and often profane things. Why would any conservative pay any attention to anything she has to say?
You make some very good points. Still, my biggest issue with Coulter is the venom she displayed for those Americans defending the Constitution over Obama’s eligibility.
She has done a good job of exposing liberals for the Godless people they are. (Her book Treason was excellent.) She has exposed the truth about Senator McCarthy to millions. Likewise Venona. She has done many good things.
I don’t take issue with questioning her judgment on Romney or Newt. It’s fair game. She put herself out there to be criticized.
But the vile, trashy comments are unconscionable.
