Exactly, when DNC Dave asked Newt if comments like zero being a Saul Alinski mole would backfire on him he got a fast ball fired back at him that was too fast for Dave to hit. Newt is the only one who has the guts to go up against the regime and he does it with class and brilliance.

Sorry for the long post, but please read!

Absolutely, Mr. Wizard! And there is a TON of ammunition out there that they just seem unable to use. I stopped wondering why that is; it’s the GOP, and that’s what they do and how they operate.

Just like McCain not going after Obama’s anti-Americanism, when there was just so many examples he could have used to illustrate the stark differences...

Over the past 4 years, Obama and the democrats, and their skunks in the media have said some extraordinary things against the values and thoughts of the majority of this nation, and the GOP is content to let it slide and never show the utter hatred of the deomcrats.

Now Newt is CORRECTLY outraged and isn’t afraid to show it.

The whole damn GOP needs to do this. Newt doesn’t even have to win, if we could just get the vast majority of Republican politicians to start sticking up for this country and going on the offensive.

Still, we now know they won’t. When I started posting on Free Republic in 1998 I, like most, was unaware at how insidious the RINO disease was. I was puzzled why Clinton, Gore, etc could argue so well against ours. The democrats would use any lie, any smear, andf method to attack the Republicans and our guys would bend over and take it. It took us a while on this site to figure out the RINO game.

It seems to me that too many have the RINO disease today. It is the desire to not rock the boat, their unholy desire to placate the media, perhaps because they truly don’t know how Leftist they have become or perhaps they think if they’re nice they’ll eat them last...

Look at McCain as the primary example. NEVER was there a Repulbican who pleased the media like this MAVERICK. Why, he was the ANTI-Bush, one whom the media loved, and many a dem-voting independent told me that if McCain was only the Republican, they would surely vote for him because he was not a Bible thumping social conservative.

Yet, when it finally became McCains turn, what happened? They unloaded on him as if he was David Duke, Jerry Falwell, and Barry Goldwater all rolled into one. He suddenly became the ARCH-Conservative, Bush-lite war monger, and this happened virtually over night. All those independents who we were told who would vote for a tamer, less strident, less conservative Republican voted for Obama.

So I don’t know why anyone would think that true conservatives in this country would chose Romney over Gingrich.

I think it’s obvious that going Left isn’t going to cause us to start winning more elections.

2008, what they did to McCain (and how he went along with it) and Palin, and 2010 and the spectacular wins then prove that going Right and more importantly: TAKING IT TO THE LEFT, is the way to win.

Now, of all the Republican candidates out there right now, which one is most likely to do so?

Hint: It isn’t Romney.
