Someone, maybe Dick Morris?, made an interesting point about the debates.

He was talking about all the money, organization and resources that Mitt started out with in stark contrast to the way Newt, Santorum, and most of the others did.

None of that mattered because the debates leveled the playing field. Everyone participated without it costing them a dime. It was a huge plus for Newt as debating is his long suit.

The commentator (?) suggested that Mitt skip the rest of the debates.

Maybe he should have started out refusing to do debates but it’s way too late to go that route now.

Like minds.

Morris is where I took the unfavorables comment from.Morris is a strict poll guy who lives and often dies by them. My guess is he's wrong about Newt and just trying to take the easy appearing road of backing Mitt.

that road however is full of potholes that few appear to have traveled.
