I read the comments from readers of The Blaze’’ which I’m a big fan of as GBTVl. The vast majority of responses appeared to be in lock step with the anti-Gingrich win.
Is Gingrich just mccain reincarnated? I honestly don’t know. I do know that with all the infighting, it is chipping away at the ammo the Democrats have in their bag of tricks to help bring the empty suit to victory.

Gingrich is no McCain. McCain wouldn’t say $h1t if he had a mouthfull.
Gingrich is Ross Perot with brains.

Is Gingrich just mccain reincarnated? I cannot picture in any shape or manner Gingrich playing dead and basically giving up, or being accepting of 0' as a pres, let alone "our" pres. OTOH, McCain, I can... easily, and McCain did in fact "play dead" (and without really ever getting back up... he just played dead for most of his 2008 campaign).

Shadeaud,
Newt is "not" Juan McCain reincarnated ...
If anyone in this campaign is Juan-II it's Mitt Romney ... who's just a 20-year old (non-military) "philsophical" clone of Juan ...
I admire Glenn Beck ... he's done some great stuff ... incredible stuff ...
But ... we're in a war ... a desperate war ... and there's never goning to be a "perfect" general or president ...
Generals U.S. Grant and George Patton, Jr. come to mind ...
They WON battles. Their personal lives were marked by questionalble decisons (especially Patton) ...
Yet AMERICA survived two (2) "desperate" wars because of (flawed) "victorious" men like Grant and Patton ...
I'm supremely confident that Newt will "take the battle to the Kenyan's doorstep" ...
Indeed, it might end-up being the FIRST election that Barack has had to fight ... and HE WILL LOSE !

I’m very big on what Beck is doing, but I sincerely believe he has dropped the ball with Newt.
Glenn seems to be under the mistaken impression that if someone declares themselves a “Jacksonian,” it means they approve of Andrew Jackson’s presidency. When someone like Newt says they’re a Jacksonian, it means they generally avoid involvement, but if attacked will prosecute that attack with extreme prejudice.
Similarly, I believe Glenn has spent so much effort hating on Woodrow Wilson, that when Newt says he’s a Wilsonian, Glenn went ballistic before he ever clarified what Newt means by that.

Is Gingrich just mccain reincarnated? If McCain campaigned like Newt we'd never have Obama.

I am a great believer in Free Enterprise. One of its core tenets is that "competition improves products". If Romney survives to become the nominee, it will be because these early tests made him a better candidate.
As for Newt being 'another McCain', it depends what you mean. I wouldn't have minded McCain at all if he was swinging all the time at Obama every second of every day from the Iowa caucuses to election day. In 2010, McCain ran the most vicious, intense campaign against JD Hayworth that I've ever seen. And I wouldn't have minded that if he had been half as brutal against Obama.
By that standard, the one candidate in this race who is most like 2008 McCain is 2012 Romney. If Romney wants to win, he needs to amp it up. He can't give non-answers about when he's going to release his tax returns. He can't continue with simply saying that Obama is a nice guy who's slightly over his head.
At the very least, Romney has to start interacting with conservative grass roots media more. I heard every other Republican candidate being interviewed on a talk radio show last week - even Herman Cain and Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry. But I didn't hear Romney. Romney won't even call in to Hugh Hewitt, and Hewitt wrote a book about him.
