Nice to see Santorum come in a strong third tonight. Depending on what the rinos can come up with, we might just need one more lifejacket.

Bachmann!
I mean Perry!
I meant Cain!
I really meant Newt!

Romniacs fight dirty and they aren’t ready to give up.

So, yes, its going to hit the fan. Thats OK, Gingrich seems genetically immune to that kind of thing. He wades right into it, whereas Romney doesn’t handle it well when you hit back. He flinches. Gingrich has learned that, while playing nice is the right tactic with Santorum and Paul, it doesn’t work with Romney. If Romney wants to throw mud, he’s going to get it right back.

I think people did take Sarah’s message to heart in keeping the vetting process open. We will definitely see some vetting going on the next few weeks.

It is going to become very nasty. It will test our conservative faith.

I just saw a Romney TV ad in Florida (which I bet they pull)

*South Carolina picks a president on Saturday*

What are the lamestreamers doing tonight now that their pick and the DNCs pick of the person to face off against the Great Pretender was soundly defeated in South Carolina. The Rats and the media gave us John McCain in the last election and figure they can do it again this time. There is good reason why the worst dirt they could come up with on Romney was he gave money to his church (horrors)! They were hoping to save the really good stuff for the October surprise once they successfully nominated him.

I agree. How hypocritical for the “powers that be” to be making hay over Newt's sexual “indiscretions” - things he admits were wrong and of which he has repented and changed his ways - and what they gave Clinton a pass on over twelve years ago. Clinton was a horn dog even while he was still running and continued at the White House and, no doubt, is probably STILL carrying on. Darn tootin’ we need to brace ourselves for the onslaught but we should be at the ready to throw it right back in their faces for their complacency about Bill.

In 1998 two candidates for Az. Atty. General beat each other up to the point voters were sick of both of them, resulting in Janet Napolitano being elected. That began her trail of destruction through the Governor's office, and on to Secretary of DHS.

I am getting the feeling I am witnessing a rerun.

I'm not sure the Baggage Man can take the beating that's coming his way, and pull off a win over Zero.

Newt has been trashed by the RATs and their media allies since 1994. They can’t come up with anything new and will just recycle the old lies.

The attacks on Newt will have exactly as much success as we let them have.

It’s going to get even nastier than it’s been.

I’ve never, in my lifetime, seen the establishment Republicans...Sununu, Talent, Molinari, etc...be so nasty about a candidate from their party. Sununu almost took off Martha McCallum’s head yesterday.

Oh, wait...there was that Reagan thing, where they nor the media wanted him.

Is anyone here able to update the Wikipedia page on Newt? It says:
"In 1981, six months after the divorce from Jackie Gingrich was final, Gingrich wed Marianne Ginther. In 1993, while still married to Marianne, Gingrich began an affair with House of Representatives staffer Callista Bisek, who was 23 years his junior."
It leaves out these facts:
Newt and Marianne separated in June 1987 and maintained separate residences for six years before reconciling in late 1993 or early 1994.

Personally I welcome it. I think people can see right through this gutter sniping. ABC might have handed the primary and the election to Newt Gingrich. I believe he has effectively inoculated himself from one of his main weaknesses.

Remember Reagan was called the “Teflon President” because nothing would stick to him?

I think Gingrich is developing his own non-stick coating.

Gingrich already has the eloquence and depth to promote and protect conservatism.....gained through his writings and speeches (just like Reagan).

Reagan was divorced as well.

I am not saying Gingrich is another Reagan, but he is similar in many, many ways.

Almost every GOP candidate who announced has surged against Romney. Why? People don’t trust him. He is rightfully perceived to be the candidate of the “Establishment”, which, for all you old guard John Birchers means the “oligarchy” of bankers, globalists, elitists and invisible hand, back channel manipulators of markets and debt which are an anathema to patriots. These are the peckerwoods who got us into this economic mess and people know it. Romney and his handlers are not trusted for good reason. Anyhow, Newt is smarter and more capable of acting independently of those puppet masters.
