Just checking in...Still a lot of ice out there. Did get out for just a bit to feed chickens and bring in a couple of pieces of wood.....Then slid back in.
At our old house, it was so icy once that I had to use the neighbor’s hedge to pull myself up the street and then slide down our driveway on my butt to get into the house. I could see our other two neighbors watching me and when I arrived safely back to the house they cheered. Nobody went to work that day. :)
What is it like this morning? It’s 30 degrees here now, and above freezing temps with rain are predicted.
