This is all part of the same Big Lie. Global warming (under its many names) has been warned of because it will lead to “the extinction of whole taxa” and a “great dying” not seen since a ten mile wide hunk of space crud blasted a huge crater and pushed all the dinos into a mass grave (figuratively, mostly). It won’t, it’s not happening, and the oceans warming at depth (another recently revived part of the Big Lie) isn’t happening either.

There are certain simple steps I would support. For instance, we could ban import and export of exotic animals as personal pets. The trade decimates populations in some cases, and destroys other ecosystems in others. Burmese Pythons don’t belong in Florida.
