DES MOINES, Iowa -- A Des Moines man has been arrested after police say he used, or tried to use, the identity of Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz in a scheme to falsely implicate Schultz in perceived unethical behavior in office.

Gosh, I WONDER if this Prez would order the export of machine-guns to drug dealers with the intent of undermining the 2nd Amendment, you know...?
Gosh I really WONDER.
Is there ANY LIMIT to the amount of stuff you can get away with, if you’re black..?
WOW.
Imagine it’s 1942, we’re in Europe and he’s wearing all black with silver pips. Are you happy to see him?
WHY is the Republican SOS resigning? This is a most intriguing question.
The problem for the RATS is that the caper went bad, which left Edwards holding the bag.
The very day Edwards was arrested, Link fired him, which means the RATS have abandoned Edwards.
Edwards was infuriated those who put him up to this abandoned him, so in an attempt to extract revenge, and to save his own hide, he decided to spill the beans on the whole crooked bunch and in the process called Republicans who assigned Whitaker to take the case.
I know this is really tightening up my tin foil hat, but the scenario makes perfect sense. We'll see what happens.
Ahhhhhhhhh......You are a wise CGG.
I didn’t hear that he was resigning. I heard that some GOP officials have asked him to resign because of some controversy concerning the ballots and a decision that he made. It’s a silly dispute. It looks like another case of a GOP Charlie Foxtrot, to me.
Thanks for setting me straight. This case here in Iowa is most intriguing. These Democrats are desperate to get rid of Schultz.
