Thousands have flocked to watch a fake presidential rally held by comedian Steve Colbert and one-time Republican presidential frontrunner Herman Cain in Charleston, South Carolina. And in an interesting twist, the crowd, comprised mostly of students, was far larger audience than any at an actual rally during this year's election cycle in the state.
Herman Cain, whose presidential campaign was plagued - and finished - by a string of accusations of sexual misconduct, appeared alongside

Hit the road Herman, and take those damned pizzas with you!
It appears to me that Herman Cain has mental health issues.
Cain is still actng as Mitt Romney’s stalking horse and hoping to take some of his own former supporter’s votes away from Newt. No other reason for him to be pulling this stunt at the last minute. Remember Herman Cain is still on the SC ballot. No way he would have jumped in with this stunt if Romney still had the lead.
Those guys here who were on the Cain train were such fools following his 9-9-9 and electified fence crap.
As a former Cain supporter, sad to see this.
He is showing his political naivete.
Cain had great growth economics as an agenda...now he appears desperate to stay in the limelight.
You know what this is really about?
He is trying to pay off his campaign bills AND angle for another shot at the same time.
With Cain, it’s all Herman, All the time.
BTW, you’re going to catch hell for the vernacular.
I wonder how much he still has in that war chest so many contributed to.
And NO endorsement........ but, “We the People.”....
Nope he is helping Romney, plain and simple.
I don’t know about that, but I have seen people his age and in his stage of life, seriously no longer take this world’s serious issues seriously anymore. All is vanity.
I bet Romney bought lots of Cain’s books among other things.
On the plus side, as SC is crossover state, all Cain votes will come out of the hide of Romney and Paul.
There are still supporters of Cain right here on FR and they will go out and vote for him - not just liberals and dems.
Colbert's ears. Man, those ears. They look at me. They follow me around the room. Especially the one on his right. It looks like it fell off at some point and was slapped back on with super glue. The other one is normal. It is right there where it should be. All happy.
Colbert is a leprechaun or some kind of elf. No question about it. He is an elf! And we all know about elfs! They hate Newts!
Did you see the anti-Romney commercial that the Colbert Super PAC ran on SC TV stations?

There is nothing to laugh at here, as the big joke is on those who supported this clown.
Well now that Cain’s book tour that was badly disguised as a presidential run is over, he’s got to do something to get attention.
First it was the silly “I endorse we the people” cop out, now it’s appearing with Colbert to essentially attack an entirely correct Supreme Court decision.
Herman is approaching clown territory. I still feel sorry for all the people he fooled into sending him their hard earned money. All those folks accomplished was paying Herman’s way around the country so he could sell his book and perhaps stay in the limelight long enough to get a TV gig or a better radio slot.
What party to you belong to? 999 to the liberals maay bae c—p, but to American patriots it is brilliant! By Your own words, the dye is cast. The longer you leave them in the solution, the redder you become.
S.C., vote for Herman Cain!
Wonder if Herman figured out he`s the butt of the whole joke yet?
It’s not funny. It’s not close to funny. Something is very, very wrong with this guy and Cainiacs were going to make him our president. Now those Cainiacs, who had been pushing Santorum, have jumped on the Gingrich train. I think we need to worry.
