Thousands have flocked to watch a fake presidential rally held by comedian Steve Colbert and one-time Republican presidential frontrunner Herman Cain in Charleston, South Carolina. No, this is how it went: a segment of voters went from Palin to Perry to Cain to Bachmann and now Gingrich — totally ignoring the proven conservative Santorum -— in their effort to nominate a GOP candidate other than Mitt Romney.
I remain curious as to why conservatives will not support an obvious conservative like Santorum.

Rumor has it that Newt called Perry prior to Perrys endorsement of Newt and hat they made a pact to fight the EPA and Holders Justice Dept together.
Perry as an outsider and Newt as an Insider
He’s a hustler, pure and simple. And not a very good one at that.
I think we’ll be hearing more from Gov. Rick Perry in the year ahead. Being the fighter he is, I believe he is just locking and reloading.
Oh, more departments than that. This arrangement keeps Perry in his native habitat.... flying silently while planning the destruction on the ground.
I hope Newt gave him carte blanche. I feel like he did.
