That one did poorly enough on the charts to prompt me to skip it, but thanks for bringing it up. It’s of historical interest.
The Zanies, who I believe were from Los Angeles, also recorded "The Blob" for Dore records in 1958. I like their version somewhat better, but I don't think it charted.
