Isn’t it the height of irony that the forgiveness is flowing, and benefit of the doubt cards are being strewn in Newt’s path, and yet not one person has it in his/her heart to forgive Santorum for his sweater vests?

Actually the irony is that the pit vipers forced US into their game of 'Rules for Radicals' while the price of gas explodes and their dear leader rejects our neighbor to the NORTH the opportunity to buy NORTH American 'oil'.

I have family and friends that are really hurting, and higher gas prices is only making their lives more miserable. Newt's old 'sins' or Santorum's choice of attire notwithstanding.

The sweater vest is awesome. I have worn them for decades. It must be a PA thing.

Appropriate attire for a man who supports the right to bare arms.

{^) Thanks for the smile, LaBar.

Hey, even though Santorum has never asked for my forgiveness for such grievous transgression of fashion, he has it, absolutely! {^)

Now if he would only ponder the moral failing of pride. I believe he's engaging in pride to the detriment of our nation, and even now, I forgive him for it. I pray Santorum has the grace and character to overcome that failing and do the better, most difficult thing -- step aside for a fellow Republican and fellow imperfect, flawed, semi-statist guy, but who nonethess is considerably more gifted in oratory, and has a DEMONSTRATED HISTORY much greater than Santorum's of helping Ronald Reagan turn America's political direction greatly to the right.
