I could have predicted this. I know when I think back to almost 30 years ago in high school, we’d have done the same thing.

Kids are suffering from hunger related illnesses?? That’s why they’re obese...right??
To: BenLurkin
It’s free and they still complain.
To: BenLurkin
Obviously the solution is to raise taxes and pour more money into the schools in order to pay the kids to eat this stuff.
IT’S FOR THE CHIIIIIILLLLLLDRENNNNNNN!!!!

When I was in high school over 50 years ago in So. California, we had great food. The original McDonald's was just down the street. Ate there every day, ad the only health problems that I have is Pulmonary Fibrosis, otherwise perfect health.

****Bring back pizza day!!****
I remember when Pizza was first served at our school back in 1963. Many of the kids would not eat it and the garbage was full of them. I thought they were good, the kids said they looked like puke as none had ever even seen a pizza before.
Our school always served good lunches.

Rejecting healthful alternatives like vegetarian curries and tamales, quinoa salads and pad Thai noodles, students are throwing them in the trash by the thousands, bringing junk food from home and buying instant noodles and other decidedly unhealthy fare from the black markets ... Can't make this up!!

My daughters school serves what they define as “comfort food”. All the classics that kids love are served on a rotating basis. The school has explained that they are about the job of educating, and want the kids to eat, rather than avoid lunch. Kid friendly foods offer plenty of quality nutrients. Anything more advanced nutritionally should be given at home.

Once again, the “eddicated” libs learn what we in flyover country have known since the beginning of time.
Yes, liberals are THAT dumb.
