But if you think King wasn't shaken and embarassed, even if only for a few moments, then you're seeing the world through smoke-colored glasses, which provide just as distorted a view of reality as rose-colored glasses.

While I like Rush and agree with him much of the time this is one instance in where I'm only in about 30-50% agreement with him on King v/s Newt last evening. Newt was right to go after King the way he did. Maybe the other candidates will start to find their spines, hopefully anyway.

I agree, and I think Rush does, too, if I'm hearing him right. I disagree with Rush when he says King wasn't humiliated. I think King was mortified and embarassed -- Newt delivered a blow that gratified a whole lotta of us Americans out here! Godspeed Newt Gingrich.
