So what if Newt knew this question was coming right away?
So what that the media doesn't care about the whipping it got?
So what that John King thinks he's still the man and looks at this as a gold star? SO WHAT??
The point should be that Newt got standing ovations for not being the typical Republican whipping boy and had the balls to stand up for himself and for the party at whole. WHy do you wish to diminish or deflect that point?

I’m listening to the podcast and had to check out today’s thread...my thoughts exactly. Why is rush playing down newt?

I think he just wants to make sure this thing goes on for a long time...helps his ratings.
