Sorry, no can do. I'll be supporting a conservative candidate instead. I remember once when FreeRepublic was a conservative website. No more.
I remember the outrage here back in 2006 when McCain and Kennedy were pushing amnesty. Yet in 2012, I am being asked to vote for the pro-amnesty Newt Gingrich.
I remember the outrage here back in 2009-2010 when the Democrats were pushing their government healthcare plan. Yet in 2012, I am being asked to vote for the candidate who actually wants to take 300 pages of the Democrat plan and incorporate it into his own government healthcare plan. Vote for Newt Gingrich? Not just 'no', but 'HELL NO!'
FreeRepublic may have decided to go moderate. But I have not.
So, we shouldn’t pencil you in for a donation?
No, Free Republic has not decided to go “Moderate”, it's just that you have decided to go brain dead.
It's been pointed out to you numerous times that your candidate is no more conservative than Newt, but you ignore it.
Its been pointed out to you that Santorum also supported the health insurance mandate, and agreed with Newt back in September on his illegal alien solution. Its been pointed out to you that your guy supports SOPA and opposes right-to-work. It's been pointed out to you that your guy has a long list of big spending, and other liberal initiatives.
FreeRepublic may have decided to go moderate. But I have not.
The reason why FreeRepublic seems moderate to you is because you ignore the evidence that is in front of you.
Really? Gingrich has explained his position on healthcare dozens of times - pay attention.
Oh, you bye bye.
And if Newt does become our nominee, the best way to ensure those "300 pages" are still around to weigh us down is to NOT vote for him!
And--one other thing; your "one note tune" is not near as disturbing as your petulant, petty, and quite honestly PISSY dissing of the man who has fought so valiantly for not just his--but OUR--FreeRepublic!!
God bless you JimRob!
And--GO NEWT!
Sorry, no can do.
Apparently you weren’t listening to Mark Levin’s “you are part of the problem” speech yesterday. His explanation of the “prinicpled vote, or non vote was a classic, and right on the money.
