Gingrich’s loss of his Speakership is an indictment of how shameful and cowardly the Republican cognoscenti is as Lott’s loss of his leadership FOR PRAISING AN OLD MAN AT HIS BIRTHDAY PARTY!
I definitely got your point about Gingrich being the first republican speaker in decades. When I read it, it reminded me of Santorum’s attack in last night’s debate, so I replied to your post. I agree that it is important to remember the circumstances at the time.
