Oh, there will be a backlash, all right. As for myself, before this little ex-wife stunt, i was having reservations about having "The Other Woman" as our First Lady and her impulsive husband as our President.
But now? After watching the dems and the GOP-E try to control yet another election by pulling these types of stunts? I would crawl over broken glass to vote for him even if i knew ahead of time there would be wild orgies in the White House.

Mark Levin and the guy who runs Insider Advantage who worked for Newt at that time both hinted that they know stuff about Marianne that they’d rather not say but that would be hard on her.
I think many people know what time it is with Marianne even though Newt as he has acknowledged was no saint.
I don’t think his daughters would go front and center for him if were an ogre....mine sure would not for me.
I see this actually helping Newt with his base...and he will defend himself unlike McCain who refused to fight back and spayed Palin.
