Well, it definitely got MY attention. Up until I saw Newt fight back, I was undecided between the two remaining Not-Romneys. I am SO very sick of watching Republican politicians who will not fight back against the LSM, and if the standing ovation Newt received is any indication, I'm not alone.
From now on, I'm adopting the Dem philosophy: I don't care WHAT negatives our candidate has. He's OUR candidate and I'll stick with him to the very end. But for me to adopt this philosophy, my candidate must not be afraid to take on each and every LSM-dog who dares to launch unfair attacks on him. I must know that he won't abandon me when the attacks become fierce later this year. I must know that when I climb up out of the foxhole to "charge," he'll have my back and won't pull a McCain.
Newt is the only one who appears to have enough gumption to do what must be done. It's TIME. It's time to take our Republic back from those who would destroy it just to keep their Establishment perks and privileges. Rick Perry understands; that's why he endorsed him. It's past time. Four more years of BHO will destroy our nation.
I'm tempted to declare in huge fonts, "Remember the Alamo! Remember Goliad!", as the Texican patriots did in 1836. But in terms of history metaphors, the slaughtering of freedom fighters at the Alamo and Goliad are behind us.
Metaphorically speaking, it's time for friggin' San Jacinto.
Add Chuck Norris and Mama-Grizzly Sarah Palin to that list. Gee, i seem to be seeing a pattern here.
