I’m not even a big Newt fan but just damn. Threw high heat and Newt hit it out of the park (having been VERY ready for it). Well done.

I'm not really in Newt's camp either, but I can surely respect the verbal ass-whoopin' he laid on John King. In the interview after the debate, Newt said that he welcomed the opportunity to debate Baraq the Lesser (my sobriquet, not one Newt used), saying that "...Baraq could use his telePrompter, I'll use my knowledge, and we'll all get along just fine."

I'm almost getting to the point where I could consider supporting Gingrich. Not quite there, but if he keeps laying the wood to the backsides of the press like he did tonight, I'll have to seriously consider it.

Same here on all counts. Thanks. (Still worried that the 10% of the voters who are vacillate-ers will end up wimping out and sticking with Obama. But when Newt is ON, he’s really ON.)

What makes you think he wouldn't continue to do this? He's never been shy in the past. Do you think any of the other candidates will throw punches like Newt? This is exactly what is needed to turn things around in this country.
