Santorum is really being an ass tonight. He’s whining and attacking everyone. He makes faces while others are speaking.
Ron Paul seems sane next to him. Ron Paul just explained his stance on abortion pretty well.
I can’t believe this debate has reduced me to finding virtue in Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.
Did Perry’s presence, even though he wasn’t called on that much, somehow add a little class and balance and steadiness?
I don’t know, but it’s not there tonight.
It’s petty back and forth arguing and not much statement of principle or attacking Obama.
They should have closed it out with the Fox debate.
This one has been awful.
In closing statements, when Newt was talking about how really dangerous BHO has been, Ron Paul was smirking!
FURP.
Someone should have advised him to refrain from this behavior, because it entirely eclipses his good qualities. He seemed to have stepped back from that for awhile, so I can only assume he feels he's fighting for his life here.
I was never a fan of Santorum but after tonight, he’s my least favorite of the 4. He made faces, had a holier than thou attitude, was insipid and he really turned me off. That does NOT mean I like Romney or Paul as the nominee, I’m all in for Newt, but Santorum is at the bottom of my list... at least tonight he is. He just really rubbed me the wrong way and I don’t think he stands a snowballs chance in hell of beating the Marxist Kenyan.
I pretty much agree with everything you said and I did miss Perry being there. I like Perry and he is a good man. It’s a damn shame he got off to such a rocky start and never recovered.
