Charleston, S.C. — Speaking at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, Herman Cain just announced his presidential endorsement.

After saying that it would not please the media (but it would please the American people), Cain said he was not endorsing a candidate, but instead, would endorse “we the people.”

He is not naming an endorsement because he is hoping he will be a VP to someone...that is my guess.

As for me, if Cain doesn’t gain traction as a write-in...

LOL, who in their right mind would waste their vote writing in Cain? He is not running for President. He is out of the race. He quit because he couldn't defend himself against the skeletons that had begun pouring out of his closet. I feel sorry for the people that wasted money contributing to what was really a glorified book tour.

I LOVE it.

Seriously? You love that Herman endorsed "we the people"? That is about as cheesy a gimmick as it gets. Maybe in 2016 Cain will get really bold and endorse "happiness".

Cain isn't that big a fool. He couldn't continue his book tour....err presidential bid because he had mistress problems. There is no way anyone will chose him as their VP running mate. If you quit a presidential race because of personal baggage, your not a viable VP selection.

Cain is a gifted orator/communicator and is no doubt working hard to get a TV gig or a better radio slot. He probably doesn't want to offend anyone during his job search. In the meantime he can endorse puppy dogs and cupcakes without burning any bridges.

That is "cheesy" at best and bullsh** at worst. But, then, this is a whoremonger who was unfaithful to his wife, deceived his followers and kept millions in campaign donations. So, who cares what this sack of crap thinks or who he endorses?

Can I get an A-MEN!

Hey, I’m glad to see that Cain had the balls to endorse nobody because he didn’t think anybody was worth his vote.

Especially after everyone said he was gonna endorse Romney.

Guess y’all were wrong about the man.

Do me a favor and hold your breath. He did endorse Romney in the last election and he spoke very highly of Romney in this election. Would not be surprised if Cain ends up endorsing Mitt...

Yeah, he’s light years better then Newt.

Let’s see. He helped get Alito and Roberts appointed to the supreme court.

Who did Newt appoint to the supreme court when he was in?

Let’s see:

Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Stephen Breyer

Wow. That’s impressive.

Was Newt asleep at the switch?

“this is a whoremonger who was unfaithful to his wife”

“I care more about Newt’s present than his past”

Holy Juxtaposition Batman.

You must be kidding. As Speaker of the House, he NEVER VOTED on Ginsburg and Breyer! That’s the job of the Senate. The House is not involved in confirming Supreme Ct nominees. Are you that uninformed?

Cain is playing the SAFE card. Wait and see. He supported Romney before...he is waiting ...Cain owes Perry an apology.

No, you owe Cain and his supporters an apology. You said that he was going to endorse Romney.

He came out and said that no one was worth his endorsement.

So you were wrong about the man. I would like to hear you admit that you didn’t have him right. I know because I was there when you were calling out Cain supporters and how they should be ‘embarrassed’, because their candidate was going to endorse Romney.

Well, that didn’t happen.

So you’re willing to credit Santorum for supporting both Roberts and Alito?
