I am not prepared to endorse amnesty for millions of illegals, which is what Newt has put forward. I'm also not ready to support someone who gives Global Warming photo ops with Pelosi, who endorsed Dede Scozzafava (pro-abortion and pro same-sex marriage). And, I'm not signing on yet to vote for a guy who went on a nationwide tour with Al Sharpton promoting Obama's education agenda. Yes, that same lack of judgment was displayed when he opposed the Iraq surge.

So, I guess at this point I am moving to Santorum's camp, since Perry is out. I suspect at some point I may have to choose between Gingrich and Obama, and of course that is a no-brainer in Newt's favor. And I will support him vociferously if that time comes. Newt is brilliant, no doubt, but his conservatism vacillates at inopportune times...not too mention he has more baggage than American Tourister.

I agree. He may have overcome the 'women' part, but is he still susceptible to the 'new age idea' stuff? I don't know.....

My other concern is that he's tried very hard to get attention from the media. If he sinks back into that mode and doesn't focus on the task at hand, it could be trouble.

That said again, if he's the nominee, I'll fight like a madwoman for him so we can begin to get our country back.
