That was pretty big for me too, so I understand, there's some pretty significant baggage there.

My reasoning came down to this: I thought he was the only one left who could both paint a clear vision of conservative ascendancy and fight like Bambi (and the media) like a pit bull to attain it. You need both in this extraordinary time, and he can do both.

I know his flaws, they worry me.......but he's my guy, warts and all.......

Oh, and btw, I agree with Newt's being a pit bull. And he's sharp as a tack.

He's got many good qualities. It's the not-so-good ones that concern me.
