What if she is a liar? My ex-wife sure wouldn't tell you good things about me, but I expect 80% of what she'd say would be lies, misrepresentations, hyperbole and spin. Should I just say she's correct and ask for forgiveness?

I have an ex-wife too.
What I expect to hear form Gingrich if she is a lying would be:
"Without going into detail not everything she said is true, but most of it is, I am guilty, I have repented, and I have changed."

People in this country have had enough experience with divorce that I expect they know what to expect from an ex-wife. Newt should simply say “Well, she is my ex-wife. What do you expect?” and leave it at that; or maybe add “I forgive her”
