I don’t think that is true. He is he awesome governor of Texas. He loves Texas. I think that is where he will stay.
Maybe a senate run fo KBH’s seat. Delicious irony there.

Sounds plausible. Or a cabinet post.

Personally I don’t think so. We already have seven or so in the race after the first filing period closed. A 2nd filing period mandated by the Feds will offer an opportunity ending in Feb. Strong candidates include Ted Cruz, David Dewhurst and Tom Leppert that are already in the race.

Exactly...he will remain in Texas. He loves being Governor there and certainly he believes he's made great strides for the state. So why leave for a Washington position when he's shinning for Texas...not to mention all the projects he's moving there.

I’ve wondered about that also.

Rick Perry has two more years left in his term as governor.

I seriously doubt if he would run again. He would probably win again easily, but he may think he’s done it long enough.

He wants to continue serving his country. I don’t think this is the time to run for the Kaye Bailey seat, several of his friends have already announced.

He could run against John next time. John is not nearly as strong as Perry.

I think there’s a possibility he might take a high government post if Gingrich offered one and, if he felt he could do some good. He would be a fabulous energy secretary.
