I’m not hurting today. I’m happy. I did most of my hurting earlier when I had to endure the vile attacks on a good man from some of the people on here.

I did my hurting when the voters couldn’t seem to realize that they had a treasure and chose leprechaun gold.

I did my hurting when Governor Perry didn’t get a bounce in the South Carolina polls.

I’m rejoicing today because he bowed out with his integrity intact and because he endorsed Newt who I think has the best chance of beating Obama.

I just found out about Perry when I turned to CNN to watch the debate. It sounds as if Perry was a class act as usual. I am so happy that he endorsed Newt, his timing was great.

Now I am going to search for a video of Perry's speech.

There are a whole lot of us who are Christians who believe that moral values are important, and that the lack of moral values in a candidate is indicative of other problems. I wasn't asking just for 'me,' as much as you were trying to force that argument. I was asking legitimate questions about a legitimate moral issue that is being asked by many, many legitimate Christians.

When you insulted me, you insulted everyone who shares my view that Biblical morality, and character are very important issues, and that they need to be fully addressed.

Keep that in mind when you begin insulting others in the future. I will avoid the subject as I now know where you will take it. Fortunately a number of others on this thread didn't do what you did, and at least attempted to deal with the real issue.

btw, I'm still not endorsing Newt, as the ethical questions still exist, your condescension notwithstanding.

Of course, it is not just Catholics who recite that prayer -- one might hope that as Christians of any denomination, we also live it and do not just recite it. Sometimes we forget that it is telling us if we want Him to forgive us, we must forgive others.
